The Indian Ocean Disaster Relief (IODR) was founded in early 2005 to provide emergency relief in the immediate aftermath of the Boxing Day Tsunami of 2004. The charity was registered in the United Kingdom and aimed at measurably improving the well-being of children following natural and other disasters.
